WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) allows Lighting professionals to explore their designs in a 3D
environment. Users can create their productions in 3D along with all of
the necessary paperwork. Designers and Design Assistants will benefit from
WYSIWYG Design's ability to output full photorealistic pictures of their
proposed designs. Console Operators and Electricians will find the
paperwork tools to be invaluable. WYSIWYG is a full featured Computer Aided Design program tailored to the needs of the entertainment lighting industry. The extensive library of trusses and lighting fixtures make the design process fast and painless. Shaded Views give accurate perspective views of the venue, enabling the designer to verify their work. Paperwork is generated automatically as the design progresses. The user has compete control of every piece of information as well as how that information is displayed. Reports and plots can be customized to satisfy even the most exacting designer. Once the design is complete, WYSIWYG can be connected to any lighting board via an external interface. The computer will then read DMX from the lighting board and display the actual lighting situation in real-time. A show can be "pre-cued" before a single fixture is rented. Once levels have been set, WYSIWYG can generate high-quality photo-realistic renderings of any lighting look.
